End of year School Program

The 3 and 4 year olds at Broadmoor had a end of school program May 10, 2012. The 4 year olds sang most of the songs but Mahlon and Sara Beth's classes got to join in on  a few!
Sara Beth was a little shy and nervous...

And Mahlon jumped right in motions and all!!
So cute to watch them perform!!

1st Ballet Dress Rehearsal

This was Sara Beth's first semester of dance!! She loved getting all dressed in pink each week. These are just a few pictures from the studio (Repeat Performance) a few weeks prior to the recital. They had a dress rehearsal and group picure.

Run for Hope

Our Church Madison Heights held its Second Annual Run for Hope 5k and we made it a family event!
Wesley ran for real and placed 2nd in his age group and 6th overall! I ran walked with the twins in the double jogger! I was pushing close to 100lbs with the two of them so I was just happy I finished!! I think I finished in 29 minutes and my goal was to finish of course but if I could do it in under 30 minutes I would be happy...I'm happy! The kids couldn't understand why I couldn't go any faster!! Ugh! There were some massive hills!!!!

 Wesley bascially lapping us!!

Mahlon was getting ready for his first 1 mile fun run!!!

Family Pic after the 5k to show I did it and survived!!
 Mahlon at the start line!
Almost to the finish line...he held his daddy's hand the entire 1 mile!! We were so proud of him!!!

Wesley and Cheerleader Sara Beth getting his 2nd place medal in his age group!
This was a fun family event!! Next time I won't be pushing a double jogger though!! Maybe I can be the one doing the one mile fun run!

Easter

The Easter Bunny was good to us this year! Our new favorite...Kites! So fun! And April was quite a windy month! Love the big smiles on their faces!

So these aren't in the right order but this is from Easter Morning!
All kinds of goodies! New Crocs, coloring books, Kites, new pj's and some learning Leap Frog toys! So Fun!!

Happy Easter!

We spent Easter in Madison and after Church had Easter lunch with the Brewer family at the Church office followed by our 3rd Easter Egg Hunt! We named it the "misfits lunch!" We were actually supposed to eat with 3 other families and at least one person in the other families had a fever or virus of some sort. The 8 of us had a great lunch:)

My kids love the front porch swing! One day we will have big front porch with a swing!

3rd Egg Hunt and she was just as excited as the 1st one! You can never have too many jelly beans!

We also had a little photo shoot...LOVE this sweet face!!

 And this one too!!!
Not sure if I love the smile or pout better! Hilarious face on this girl!! She did not want a kiss!!

Madison Heights Easter Egg Hunt

I was in charge of the Church Easter Egg Hunt this year and had some great volunteers to help me! It turned out so cute and was so much fun! This is a small view of the crowd listening to Mrs. Sherlie tell the Resurrection story.

Cheri came to hunt eggs too, since I was a little busy with the rest of the party!
We had over 500 eggs!! Our egg hiders/daddys did an awesome job...they even left eggs in the trees!

Full Baskets!! and it was much cooler than expected that day(hence the fleece coat on Mahlon!)
I made a cute "photo opp" for the kids with a little help!
Fun craft table making fingerprint bunnies and chics!
And every party needs a cookie decorating station! YummY!

Sunset Fishin'

This post is long over due! Time to play catch-up on Spring and Summer!

Grant and Anna got a boat and one of the kids favorite thing to do is go on a boat ride! They love the water...swimming, fishing, boat riding...anything!

While the kids and daddies were on the water the mommies hid eggs! Oh they had a blast racing through the yard!

Kaden picked up each egg, shook it and decided if had something good in it before he picked them up!
And after all of that they still had energy for a little dressup!
