Hatheway Lake Halloween Party

Friday night we had our neighborhood Halloween party! So much fun! A bounce house, hay ride, pumpkin contest, and costume contest followed by trick-or-treating around the neighborhood! We don't have a ton of pics from party since I was running around like a wild woman...chasing 2 two year old and being in charge of a party with 100 people pool side will do that to you!

S.B. getting a litle scarecrow sugar!
It was cooler on Friday so we had to layer the little 'prin-prin", luckily monkey boy was plenty warm!
Our Neighbors Kaden and Brinley went with us on the hayride around the neighborhood!

Then we headed out for a little early trick-or-treating...first stop, our neighbors Mrs. Ju-Ju(Judy) and Mr. Donny.

We stopped at Brinley's for a quick photo opp! A wee little pig, a monkey and a princess! What a trio!!
Trick-or-treat Mrs. Anna!

On Wednesday the twins had their Halloween Party at school! They got to wear their costumes, go trick or treating at the church office and eat lots of goodies in their classroom and the best part of the day...daddy was there for all of it!

The cutest "monk-kee" you've ever seen!
The little "Prin-Prin" without her tiara!
So hard to get both of them to look at the camera!
Running to trick or treat!
Yummy food!

GO Bulldawgs!!

We went to MS State homecoming last weekend and Aunt Lani went with us! We hit the road during naptime and no one took a nap!! This made for one long day in Starkville!! They were troopers though and made it through half-time with only one meltdown each!
We hopped around to lots of our friends tailgates so the babies didn't have time to get bored! And of course we hit up the bounce house and got our picture taken with Bully! It was long exhausting day for all of us! They were awake for 13 1/2 hours and then slept for 12 1/2 hours that night!!
We ran into Logan next Bully!

A little down time and snack time before hitting up the bounce house with Ava Grace!

Eating PB &J for dinner!

The beginning of a meltdown!

Watching the jumbotron!

A few pics with Aunt Lani after church on Sunday!

Madison Heights at the Pumpkin Patch!!

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends from Madison Heights! So much fun!! We walked through the "petting zoo" and saw goats and pigs and turkeys and ducks...Then we went on a long hayride and saw more animals(cows, donkeys, deer and catfish!) before we stopped to find our pumpkins! We had a little playtime while pumpkin hunting and played in the hay maze, and corn box! Then is was time for a little snack and some special orange pumpkin juice!

At the end of the day...two hot and tired 2 year olds!!

I only skipped a month!

So I've been a little busy for the last month and completely forgot to post a thing!!! Wesley made it home Oct 6th after being gone for 5 weeks! And we hit the floor running trying to make up for lost family time and I had tons of art projects to get done prior to my art show on the 27th! So here is a little run down of the month of October!
We went to "A Day in the Country" at the Chapel of the Cross with our neighbor's the first weekend in Oct...this was a little overwhelming without Wesley. Chasing 2 two year olds in a very open area with lots of people was quite exhausting! Once I let them out of the stroller there was NO GOING BACK!! We had fun at the petting zoo, on a train ride, a quick picnic lunch and then on to the bounce house...I had to drag S.B. out of there by her ankles!!! I'm not sure who was more tired that day, but we all needed a long nap!

These are just a few pics after church one Sunday in our Pumpkin outfits!!

On the 15th Doc and Cheri came up and took us all to the "Pretty Cow Contest" at the fairgrounds. We walked around and saw the goats and all kinds of cows. And I think Sara Beth talked to almost all of them! We also went to 2 petting zoos before riding the Dumbo elephant ride! Our very first fair ride! They LOVED it!!!

On Saturday we headed back to the fair to meet the Coulsons...they had been there for quite some time before we made it so we rode one quick ride together before they headed home for naps...then we had lots of "firsts!"

First Roller coaster ride, first fair ride without mommy and daddy, first corndog(luckily they didn't like it!) It was a fun morning!!
