Cheri's Birthday!

Today was Cheri's Birthday! She came to Jackson and we took her out to lunch to one of our new favorite restaurants MINT. It was yummy! And she got a piece of birthday cheesecake--delicious! The babies slept through most of lunch and then we headed to the hospital to visit Ollie (Jennifer and Eric's new baby girl.) I think Cheri had a good day...she got lots of baby kisses!

Tag We're It!!!

The object of the game "tag" is to:
1. Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures
2. Select the 4th picture in the folder
3. Explain the picture
4. Tag 4 people to do the same

This picture is of sweet Mahlon passed out on the hotel bed in Birmingham after our power shopping trip in November.

I don't have 4 people to tag...so Lani and Shay you may need to tag extra people!

Ollie is here!!!!

Sweet Ollie is finally here. She was born December 29th at 2:57pm. She weighed 7 lbs 6oz and is 20.25 inches long. She looks just like Eric! She is so sweet!

It is amazing to think that Mahlon and Sara Beth were smaller than Ollie...now they could eat her for a snack! We can't wait for playdates with our new friend!

Nap Time!

We were all pooped after the Christmas Holidays...including Annabelle!!

New Friend

Before we left Soso, Marshall (Aunt Lani's best friend from childhood)came over to meet Mahlon and Sara Beth. And of course it wouldn't have been a good visit without a little spit up! She thought the babies were a lot of fun...we told her to come have "fun" anytime!!

Christmas with the Days

We had Christmas at our house with Daddy Day, Gran and Aunt Maggie yesterday. These are just a few pictures of our fun day!

Little Santa

Mahlon loves the Rainforest Jump-a-roo Doc and Cheri gave him...he is so strong! He bounces all day long. I even have him on video falling asleep in it!

Where's Sara Beth??

This is something new that Sara Beth has just started doing...apparently Cheri and Doc's house is a little too bright at nap time!

Shay and Deanne

Shay and Deanne came over for a visit yesterday. Oh what fun! Shay brought all kinds of wonderful presents for us and the babies...including some of her art work and fun animals for the babies.

Shay and I have been best friends since we were 3 years old and for 27 years we've gotten a picture together at Christmas! What a precious friend!

Jefcoat Family Christmas party

Sarah is holding Sara Beth and her girls Emily and Laura were such a big help opening Christmas gifts and holding babies.

Every year the weekend before Christmas we have the Jefcoat family Christmas party. This year it was at Doc and Cheri's...guess who was the hit of the party??? They had such a good time with all of their great aunts, uncles, and cousins. I am sure the babies would have enjoyed it so much more if they could have eaten some of the yummy food!

Little Ava wanted so badly to be left alone with Mahlon and Sara Beth!

Hard Work!

Uncle Brian has had a busy Christmas taking care of Mahlon and Sara Beth...Santa is gonna be very good to him this year!

3 generations of cookies!

We always make some kind of cookies at the Jefcoat house for Christmas...this year it was sugar cookies and Sara Beth got to add sprinkles! Some day she will be a big help in the kitchen!

Santa!

We finally got to meet Santa on Monday. He was at the ever so lovely Sawmill Square mall in Laurel...we didn't even have to wait in line! No smiles from the babies, but at least there weren't any tears!

We're Ready!

Christmas is almost here and we are ready for Santa! We've been so good for 4 1/2months! Thanks Aunt Maggie for our cute onsies.
Monday we went for our RSV vaccine and found out that Mahlon is 15 lbs. 15 oz and Sara Beth is 14 lbs. 14 oz. They have almost tripled their birth weight. They are growing so quickly. How sad!!
Sara Beth has discovered that she can sing...for several 10 minute sessions a day she sings as loud as she can(Mahlon just laughs at her!)Today Mahlon rolled over from his back to his stomach...this is a new trick! Both babies have been able to roll from stomach to back for a few weeks. They change and do something new everyday. What a blessing!

Sara Beth and Mahlon have matching pj's and Santa hats from Aunt Lani and Cheri so we tried to have a little photo shoot over the weekend. They were a little too tired from all of the festivites to smile for the camera.

Sara Beth did have fun with her stocking...yes it is bigger than she is. Hopefully she won't expect Santa to fill it all the way up. Maybe next year we'll get smaller stockings!

Birthday Fiesta

This weekend we had my 30th Birthday celebration...Fiesta Style! (I don't turn 30 for a few more days) It was so much fun. I love any excuse to have a party and eat really unhealthy food! HA! These are just a few pics from the party. It was so good to see everyone! The babies were so good too! They napped for a while and loved all of the attention they got. What a fun day!

New Tricks

We've been practicing tummy time and sitting tall in our bumbo seats. Sara Beth flips over so quickly now, Mahlon likes showing off how strong he is. He pushes up and just holds it!

The babies had an entire conversation with each other when they were in the bumbo seats. They love to talk, and now they talk to each other. It is too cute!

4 month check up

Yesterday we had our four month check up and our shots YUK! Dr. Storey was amazed at how big our little premies were. Mahlon was 26 inches long (90th percentile) and 15 lbs, 4 oz (50th percentile). Sara Beth was 25 inches long (75th percentile) and 14lbs, 4 oz (65th percentile). These are percentiles for a full term baby so we are catching up! They are so healthy! What a blessing! Mahlon rolled over for the first time yesterday for Dr. Storey so today I thought Sara Beth should try. She has rolled over 5 times today! I think she will do anything to avoid tummy time. They are growing and changing everyday...it is amazing. We are so proud of our sweet angels.

Doubley Blessed

The Double Days were Baptised on their 4 month birthday Sunday at Madison Heights, our church home. We had a wonderful day and we were surrounded by so many wonderful friends and family. We had a yummy lunch at our house after the service. Thanks so much Cheri and Aunt Lani for all that you did to make our day so special!...Uncle Brian and Doc worked hard too!(Brian may not come back and visit!) These are some of the pictures of our special day. Our babies are so blessed to so have many precious people that love them.
