On Feb21st Wesley did his first "trail run" race. He loved running in the woods for a change...this was a 17 mile race...to help him prepare for his upcoming race this week...31 miles!

And this is what happens when the "hair fairy" comes to visit in the middle of the night!! Great hair!!


These are the only pics I could get from Valentine's Day. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get the two of them in a picture together unless they are in a bath tub or stroller! Sara Beth is saying "CHEESE" and Mahlon is giving Elmo a big kiss!! They love their new Elmo (thanks Doc and Cheri) He talks and sings and moves his arms, and blows kisses...and he stays covered in food. Sara Beth seems to think Elmo needs to eat when she eats...she is such a good mommy!!

These pictures were from Feb 13th...another snow day...not quite as much snow as before, but we still had to play in it. We went down to our neighborhood playground and had the best time, until we got too cold! That slide was cold and wet on our booties!!



Then that night we had a play date and dinner at the Buchanan's...Kade and the twins are about 6 weeks apart so they had so much fun teaching each other "new tricks" and pulling out all of Kade's toys!!

Colorful furniture

I've been busy painting doll furniture for Sara Beth...her babies now have a stroller and cradle and soon a high chair too...Mahlon and Sara Beth can't quite figure out why they don't "fit" in this furniture!! Cheri made the babies a mattress, pillow, sheet and blanket. Mahlon and Sara Beth have so much fun playing mommy and daddy.

We have had the best time playing in the snow! The babies woke up Friday morning and we looked out the window to show them the snow covering everything and they yelled "NOOOOOOO" can't quite say snow...so all morning they would press their little noses up to the window and continue "nooooo, nooooo, nooooo." Finally after lunch the snow let up and we went out and played! So much fun! We built a snow woman...Frostette, had snowball fights, and went "sledding" on a sleigh pulled by daddy. What a wonderful day filled precious memories!

Sara Beth likes to do whatever mommy does these days. So I had to pass down one of my old purses to little "peanut" so she could be just like me! She always puts her purse on her forearm just like mommy and waves bye-bye as she walks out the door...just like mommy! So sweet!

Is this not the most precious dancing boy you've ever seen?!? We are in trouble when he grows up...he looks just like his daddy, and has his momma's "center of attention/outgoing" personality!! Sara Beth is a little camera shy...she likes to "help" momma video(just like her daddy she'd rather be on the other side of the camera!)

A few "COW" videos from our trip to Soso. These babies love cows...I think they think they are just oversized cats and dogs and they should come when you call them..."MOOOOO" I think if Sara Beth could have she would run through the mud with Doc to give the cows a kiss and hug! Mahlon just kept saying moo, moo, moo!

Little Musicians!

We made a 24 hour trip to Soso for Wesley to do a little work and to hopefully get his car fixed! Cheri always finds something "new" to entertain the babies. This keyboard was mine and Lani's growing up...if you ever came to a slumber party at the Jefcoat house I bet you played with it to! Especially if watching the movie Grease was involved. We would sing and dance for hours! Well now it looks like Mahlon and Sara Beth have joined in on the fun!! They were precious playing and dancing...and shoving each other out of the way!! We haven't quite grasped the concept of sharing! This kept them entertained and in the same spot for a whole 15 minutes!! Don't think I want one of these at my house...it is little loud! What a fun thing to do in Soso!

Yep we're from the south...gotta love Mahlon's southern drawl!! He LOVES to dance and anytime you sing or he hears music his little head starts a movin'. Precious baby boy learned to say "A-MEN!" on Monday when we were driving and singing in the car! And yesterday Sara Beth decided she would sing too, but not on video!
