Making memories TWO at a time!

These are just a few pictures we took outside at Doc and Cheri's. Aren't they sweet babies!

Today was Mahlon and Sara Beth's first tractor ride with DOC! Oh what fun!

You can see how big the tractor is when it makes Wesley look small.

Mahlon and Sara Beth had their "farm clothes" on just for DOC. Their outfits have cows on them and Mahlon has a tractor on his booty!

Of course the little princess wants to drive it herself!

Aunt Diane came to visit this morning. She hasn't seen the babies since Christmas! She was amazed at how big they were and what little personalities they have developed!

Whew... we had another busy weekend! We went to Soso for a few days and kept quite a busy schedule. Doc and Cheri and Lani and Brian spoiled us big time with Easter presents. Thanks for all of our new learning toys and videos, teething biscuits and toys! We are going to have so much fun! And we love our cute Easter baskets!

In the 2 days that we were in Soso we managed to see the Easter Bunny, eat some of Doc's peas (not a big hit!) ride the John Deere, eat dinner at Cowboy Jim's (Doc's favorite place-it was yummmy)go to a birthday party and visit with family and friends. We are pooped, but we had a good time!

Hoppy Easter!

We visited the Easter bunny at Sawmill Square Mall in Laurel on Good Friday. The babies weren't quite sure what to think...no smiles (at least there weren't any tears!!) This is not the original picture so it is fuzzy, you get the idea though!

New foods!

So I haven't been very good at updating our new food of the week so let me catch you up. New things we have added in past few weeks...yellow squash (pictured above) Sara Beth is not a fan, green peas-they could give or take them, teething biscuits-love them, banana flavored puffs-not sure what they think of them, and today we tried baby yogurt (pictured below)-Sara Beth thought it was ok...Mahlon HATED it! Milk mustache anyone??? We are still trying to make most of our own food. If anyone has any suggestions for what to try next let me know! Their favorite foods are still fruits, go figure I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world! We'll have all kinds of fresh veggies once summer gets here thanks to Doc!

These pictures were taken among the flowers(a.k.a. weeds) but they are so cute! Thanks Sally and Charlotte for our precious sailboat outfits! I love it when the babies match!

These pictures are from Sunday morning before and after church. The babies got the "best babies in the nursery" award at Independent Presbyterian. The nursery workers said they have never gotten babies down for a nap that easily and wanted to know our secret! I told them I needed to know their secret!

Gran's Birthday

We spent the weekend in Memphis and celebrated Gran's birthday with her (a few days late.)Whew...we had a busy time while we were there! We had a great trip up the babies got a little fussy just before Hernando, but it is amazing what a diaper change, teething biscuit and some apple juice will do! We made it to Memphis just in time to feed the babies dinner and then Gran and Daddy Day kept the babies and put them to bed so Wesley and I could go to dinner with Aunt Maggie. We had a good dinner at Memphis Pizza Kitchen. And then headed home because we were pooped! This first picture is of a little princess cuddled up next to her daddy...the babies slept horribly the first night (I think we were up 6 times!!) and then the little rascals won and got to get in bed with us.

On Saturday we woke up and got the babies ready for Benjamin's 2nd Birthday party. I hate I didn't have my camera. It was great to see Daniel, Allison and Benjamin and to finally meet sweet Emily!

Gran opened her B'day presents and Aunt Maggie, Aunt Doris and Great-great Uncle Tete came over for lunch and to play with the babies. They haven't seen the babies since Thanksgiving and they were amazed at all of our new tricks!

Later after nap time Joe, Lauren, and little Sophia came to visit! Mahlon and Sara Beth had so much fun and it was great to see Lauren and Joe and hold little tiny Sophia...it is hard to remember when our babies were that little (15 pounds ago!!) Oh and Sara Beth shook Joe's hand and said bye-bye! No Joke! We have 6 witnesses!

I think this picture is too cute of Sophia. She and Joe have the same facial expression!

The babies were so tired after all of their parties and company they slept 10 hours on Saturday night! We woke up at 6 am to check if they were still breathing! They haven't both slept through the night since they started teething at the beginning of February!

Babies R US

Ok so these pictures are from a few weeks ago when Cheri and I took the babies on an outing to Babies R US...what an adventure! The babies loved the store and they really loved riding in the buggys! They sat up so big and tall and watched all of the other children in the store. They were too cute! Thanks Aunt Lani for our cute cart covers...they keep us germ free!
