Sarah is holding Sara Beth and her girls Emily and Laura were such a big help opening Christmas gifts and holding babies.
Every year the weekend before Christmas we have the Jefcoat family Christmas party. This year it was at Doc and Cheri's...guess who was the hit of the party??? They had such a good time with all of their great aunts, uncles, and cousins. I am sure the babies would have enjoyed it so much more if they could have eaten some of the yummy food!
Little Ava wanted so badly to be left alone with Mahlon and Sara Beth!

Santa!

We finally got to meet Santa on Monday. He was at the ever so lovely Sawmill Square mall in Laurel...we didn't even have to wait in line! No smiles from the babies, but at least there weren't any tears!

We're Ready!
Christmas is almost here and we are ready for Santa! We've been so good for 4 1/2months! Thanks Aunt Maggie for our cute onsies.
Monday we went for our RSV vaccine and found out that Mahlon is 15 lbs. 15 oz and Sara Beth is 14 lbs. 14 oz. They have almost tripled their birth weight. They are growing so quickly. How sad!!
Sara Beth has discovered that she can sing...for several 10 minute sessions a day she sings as loud as she can(Mahlon just laughs at her!)Today Mahlon rolled over from his back to his stomach...this is a new trick! Both babies have been able to roll from stomach to back for a few weeks. They change and do something new everyday. What a blessing!

Sara Beth and Mahlon have matching pj's and Santa hats from Aunt Lani and Cheri so we tried to have a little photo shoot over the weekend. They were a little too tired from all of the festivites to smile for the camera.
Sara Beth did have fun with her stocking...yes it is bigger than she is. Hopefully she won't expect Santa to fill it all the way up. Maybe next year we'll get smaller stockings!

Birthday Fiesta
This weekend we had my 30th Birthday celebration...Fiesta Style! (I don't turn 30 for a few more days) It was so much fun. I love any excuse to have a party and eat really unhealthy food! HA! These are just a few pics from the party. It was so good to see everyone! The babies were so good too! They napped for a while and loved all of the attention they got. What a fun day!

New Tricks
We've been practicing tummy time and sitting tall in our bumbo seats. Sara Beth flips over so quickly now, Mahlon likes showing off how strong he is. He pushes up and just holds it!
The babies had an entire conversation with each other when they were in the bumbo seats. They love to talk, and now they talk to each other. It is too cute!

4 month check up
Yesterday we had our four month check up and our shots YUK! Dr. Storey was amazed at how big our little premies were. Mahlon was 26 inches long (90th percentile) and 15 lbs, 4 oz (50th percentile). Sara Beth was 25 inches long (75th percentile) and 14lbs, 4 oz (65th percentile). These are percentiles for a full term baby so we are catching up! They are so healthy! What a blessing! Mahlon rolled over for the first time yesterday for Dr. Storey so today I thought Sara Beth should try. She has rolled over 5 times today! I think she will do anything to avoid tummy time. They are growing and changing everyday...it is amazing. We are so proud of our sweet angels.

These are some of the pictures of our special day. Our babies are so blessed to so have many precious people that love them.
